What Loma is

Loma is a free calculus practice tool. It grades your answers and shows which skills to work on. It is a study aid, not a course, a tutor, or a grade: your instructor’s syllabus, exams and feedback always come first, and Loma’s results are not an official record of anything.

Using it

By using Loma you agree to these terms and to the privacy page. You agree not to:

  • use scripts, bots or other automated tools to send answers, create accounts, or copy problems;
  • try to get into anyone else’s account, or to get around how Loma grades or limits requests;
  • copy, republish or sell Loma’s problems, explanations or code. They are protected by copyright (see below);
  • send abusive or unlawful content through the help button or anywhere else.

Loma is for college students. If you are under 13, please don’t create an account.

Accounts

You never need an account. If you make one, keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings, and everything saved to it is deleted with it. We may remove an account that breaks these terms.

No guarantees

Loma is offered as is, free of charge. We work hard to keep the problems and the grading correct and the site available, but we can’t promise either. A problem can be wrong and the site can be down. If you think an answer was graded wrong, use “Report it” under the answer and we’ll check. To the extent the law allows, Loma and its founder are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from being unable to use it.

Changes

We may change Loma or these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If you keep using Loma after a change, you accept the new terms.
